The standard is designed to ensure fire safety in passenger cars, restaurant cars, luggage cars, power cars, service cars, railcars for cars, articulated cars and other cars operated in the Public Joint Stock Company "Ukrzaliznytsia". This standard does not apply to "Intercity+" trains. The standard defines the basic requirements for fire safety, rules for disconnecting power by car control panel, fire safety requirements for the operation of club cars, technical propaganda cars, cars with cable TV and the Internet. The standard also considers the main causes of fires in cars of passenger trains, duties of service personnel when fire is detected, as well as equipping the cars with fire extinguishing and personal protection equipment.
