Based on research, a method of vegetative propagation of miscanthus planting material and a method of determining germination energy and germination of candle seeds were developed. It was found that planting miscanthus to carry out rhizomes that are derived from plants of the first year of the growing season and have 4 or more buds. in the early stages - in the first or second decades of April, depending on weather conditions with the use of МахiМаrin absorbent. Harvesting of millet rods begins with browning of 75% of the panicle and ending with browning of 100%. Determination of laboratory germination should be carried out at a germination temperature of 20°C with its pre-cooling on a moist substrate.
