MENTAL DISORDERS, COGNITIVE DISTURBANCES, CORRECTION OF COGNITIVE DISORDERS. The object of research is cognitive disfunction during mental disorders, its neurophysiological, psychological and social aspects. The purpose of the study is to enhance the diagnostic process and improve the effectiveness of patients treatment and rehabilitation by developing a set of diagnostic and therapeutic measures based on the study of neurocognitive dysfunction. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were set: For studying the structure and intensity of neurocognitive disfunction in various mental disorders, their proportion in different periods and phases of the disease, including in the phase of symptomatic remission; to establish the specifics of neurocognitive disfunction for certain mental disorders (schizophrenia, affective mood disorders); - Monitoring the dynamics of neurocognitive deficit during the course of the disease. To analyze the correlation between clinical symptoms and disturbances in different domains of neurocognitive functioning, the impact of demographic indicators, disease duration, disease course, severity of positive and affective symptoms. - Establishing criteria for differential diagnosis of primary (essential) and secondary (caused or triggered by concomitant factors such as pharmacological side effects, demotivation, sedation, anxiety, depression, paranoia) manifestations of neurocognitive deficits; - Choosing of the best method for determining the quality of neurocognitive functioning, the duration of the diagnostic procedure with neuropsychological battery, other conditions of psychodiagnostic examination, which could help to avoid the inaccurate results; - Introducing scheme for comprehensive correction of neurocognitive deficits in patients with schizophrenia, affective mood disorders, neurotic disorders and non-psychotic mental disorders in women with breast cancer, having undergone a mastectomy as and who forms the key clusters of mental patho
