The purpose of the research is to investigate the historical specifics of new scientific approaches and to clarify the methods of analysis for the interdisciplinary study of the polylingual and multicultural space of Ukrainians and Belarusians in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. Research methods: comparative-historical, method of discourse analysis, method of linguo-cultural interpretation, contextual-interpretive method. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is in the development of new scientific approaches taking into account the historical specifics of the analyzed language / speech material. The project expands the interdisciplinary approach, thanks to which the problems of common cultural and historical heritage are studied by linguists, literary critics, bibliologists. New in the project is a comprehensive study of polylingualism and multiculturalism, which is considered in the development of the "Russian language" in the circle of Latin, Church Slavonic and others. as. The obtained results are aimed at the development of historical discourse, historical linguopoetics, linguistic source studies, onomastics, lexicography. The development of historical discourse is represented in: 1) the development of theoretical foundations and linguistic terminological tools; 2) characteristics of new discursive practices of the early modern era; 3) study of the epistemic modality of its interaction. From historical linguopoetics the following are analyzed: 1) specificity of epithets in panegyric texts; 2) grammatical variation in the language of the neo-Latin poem; 3) types and specific features of the functioning of Latin acrostic poems.
