The nature of economic instability at the present stage of economic development is determined. Peculiarities of cyclical economic development in Ukraine and in general are studied. New approaches and ways to improve the economic activity of domestic enterprises are proposed, which take into account the factors of increasing the risk of doing business in conditions of global economic turbulence. The proposed approaches are applied and the corresponding changes in the management of the enterprise in the conditions of global economic turbulence are carried out in contrast to the existing approaches in the management of economic activity, which correspond to the conditions of management in cyclical development.
