Yanovsky National academy of medical sciences of Ukraine" popup.description2  Object: 60 adolescents with bronchial asthma (BA) without exacerbation. Aim – to increase control of asthma in adolescents on the basis of new scientific data on the characteristics of the clinical course, functional tests and the life quality of patients. Methods – clinical, spirography, questioning, mathematical, statistical. The parameters of bronchial asthma (BA) affecting the quality of life (QL) of adolescents were established: the integrated indicator of total QL PAQLQ with a score of < 6 points correlated with IgE-dependent phenotype of mixed form of asthma with 2 or more concomitant extrapulmonary allergy can be considered as markers of risk of decrease in moderate QL. New data on the relationship between indicators of respiratory function with the adolescents asthma QL and developed a model for establishing indications for bronchodilation test with a combined short-acting bronchodilator (CB) in adolescents asthma, performed using linear regression equations with high accuracy of the forecast of the expected reaction of patients to the bronchodilation test with CB and allows to increase the accuracy of diagnosis of the asthma control level by 21,2 %, to prevent unnecessary costs for unreasonable examinations. A method for monitoring the level of asthma control in adolescents by bronchodilation tests with short-acting bronchodilators has been developed, which in controlled asthma can increase the detection of cases of "hidden" bronchospasm to 20,0 %. A new method for assessing the level of asthma control in adolescents, according to which in patients with an increase in FEV1 ≥ 12,0 %, established in the bronchodilator test with salbutamol use questionnaire PAQLQ and with an overall quality of life < 6 points perform an additional test with CB and FEV1 increase ≥ 12,0 % establish "hidden" bronchospasm, which allows to increase 1,8 times the accuracy of assessment of the level of asthma control. Sphere of application – pediatrics, pulmonology, allergology. Product Description popup.authors Kostromina Viktoriya P Rechkina Olena O.
