The purpose of the work is scientific and technical substantiation and development of methodological approaches for standardization of vegetable oil and packaging materials consumption in the process of vegetable oil packaging in modern consumer packaging. To achieve this goal, a study of modern vegetable oil packaging technologies was performed. It has been determined that one of the most popular and cost-effective vegetable oil bottling solutions to date is bottling in polyethylene terephthalate bottles. (PET bottles). Bottles for vegetable oil bottling are made immediately before bottling from special blanks - preforms, this allows you to maintain the hygiene of the finished product and significantly reduce the cost of storage and transportation of consumer packaging. Research has shown that today in the industry regulations there are no rules for packing oil in PET bottles. In this situation, industry enterprises that pack vegetable oil in consumer PET packaging, independently develop individual consumption rates of vegetable oil and packaging materials, taking into account the production conditions of a particular enterprise. In this case, each company independently determines the procedure and method of developing standards. The lack of a single methodological framework for the development of standards leads to a significant difference in standards for different oil and fat enterprises, which leads to an unjustified increase in the cost of finished products and, consequently, a decrease in profits. Based on the results of the work, scientifically substantiated, effective methods of developing individual standards for the process of vegetable oil packaging in PET bottles were identified, and a draft industry document.
