The purpose of the study is to study the use of domestic oilseed raw materials to improve the quality indicators of the fatty bases of cosmetic products. Research methods: chromatographic, titrimetric, mathematical modeling, organoleptic, calculated. A model formulation of hygienic lipstick has been developed. The regularities of influence of the content of tocopherol, w-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, beeswax and essential oils on the period of induction of fatty base oxidation for hygienic lipstick were investigated. Beeswax has been shown to inhibit oxidative deterioration of the lipstick base. The addition of vanilla essential oil to the product formulation in the same concentration as the synthetic flavoring increases the base oxidation induction period by 22.5%. The dependences of the acid number, pH, dropping point of model samples of the fat base on the ratio of the components were studied. Scope: oil and fat and cosmetic industries.
