The purpose of the work was to evaluate changes in individual biochemical and immunological parameters in the comorbid course of chronic diseases of the hepatobiliary zone, cardiovascular system and / or dyscirculatory pathology of the brain in persons affected by the Chernobyl accident. Methods of research  general clinical examination, instrumental studies (US of abdominal organs, esophagogastroduodenoscopy), biochemical, immunological, statistical, informational-analytical. The analysis of changes of individual biochemical and immunological parameters to determine the feasibility of their application in assessing the contribution of systemic inflammation, oxidative processes and most common persistent infections in the development of comorbidity of the victims due to the Chernobyl accident, in particular at the time of chronic disease, and/or dyscirculatory pathology of the brain. The manifestations of inflammatory reactions, disorders of lipid and carbohydrate metabolism, signs of cytolytic and cholestatic syndromes were diagnosed. Most patients were at risk of developing complicated cardiovascular pathology. Based on the results of a comprehensive analysis of clinical and laboratory changes, a group of indicators was outlined. They should be used to develop approaches to determine laboratory markers of adverse comorbid pathological conditions. At the next stage, the work should be aimed at accumulating a sufficient number of observations and conducting repeated surveys. The results of the work were published at two scientific forums.
