The object of the study - 123 patients with allergic diseases of the upper respiratory tract, 158 patients with infectious and inflammatory diseases of the nose and paranasal sinuses, 345 patients with malignant tumors, mainly of the nose, paranasal sinuses and larynx and 109 patients with tonsil hypertrophy. The aim of the work was to substantiate and improve the prevention and treatment of diseases of the upper respiratory tract and ear based on evidence-based medicine, increase the effectiveness of existing diagnostic tools and algorithms for treatment of inflammatory, allergic and tumor diseases of the upper respiratory tract and ear. As a result of the study a diagnostic algorithm for hypertrophy of the lingual tonsil, clinical and morphological diagnostic algorithm of malignant tumors of the ENT organs, methods of treatment and rehabilitation of patients with allergic, inflammatory and tumor diseases of the upper respiratory tract and ear.
