A generic method for solving stabilization and optimization problems for underactuated systems is obtained. New control algorithms for the partial stabilization of control affine systems are presented. Such controls are applied to the leader-following problem in multi-agent systems and to the trajectory tracking problem. Sufficient conditions for the partial stabilization of the mechanical system by means of stochastic control are also proposed. A constructive control design method is developed for problem of observing the velocity of oscillations and determining the coefficients of elastic coupling of two Van der Pol oscillators. The improvement of the method of energy estimates is proposed to study the behavior of solutions to double nonlinear parabolic equations with power-like singular boundary data, regardless of the type of equation.
