The subject of the study is the process of psychological and pedagogical support of families raising children with special needs, as a transformational construct of harmonization and dialogue of the family environment. The goal of the work is to develop methodological foundations of psychological and pedagogical support of families raising children with special needs; defining and justifying the conditions for the effective formation of family members' readiness to educate children with special needs. Based on empirical data, a system of psychological and pedagogical support for families raising children with special needs has been conceptualized. It is determined that, in general, the process of developing a healthy resource of the family can be focused on reducing the level of psycho-emotional stress, which leads to ambivalence; creating a favorable psycho-emotional climate in families; forming a positive image of the future for the child and the family as a whole. The following tasks performed in this direction: correction of non-constructive forms of parental behavior; correction of the child's attitude to the disease; correction of the internal psychological state of parents: overcoming the feeling of failure associated with the psychophysical insufficiency of the child, the gradual transition to understanding the resource capabilities of the child, the joy of its success. The need for specialization, complexity, differentiation of psychological and educational support of such families is established: taking into account the social specifics of the phenomenon of maladaptation; improving the content, forms and methods of psychological and educational work; use of a family-oriented approach.
