Features are examined architectonically- designer decision of rural settlements of Ukraine on the modern stage of community development. First offered approach to conception of формоутворення of environment between different administrative settlements and in the settlements of municipal type, on the basis of principles of modernisation and succession of architectural space. The conducted researches showed that a village in modern terms can not exist it is isolated from other settlements, close contacts matter very much with industrial and administrative centers and space between them.
