Lazaryan popup.description2  The method of determining the cause of the descent of an inhomogeneous freight train consisting of 50 tanks on the real section of the Lithuanian Railways is presented. For this purpose methods of mathematical modeling and the software computer complex created in DNUZT were used. The level of longitudinal forces and dynamic parameters of wagons were estimated using mathematical models of longitudinal oscillations of the train and spatial oscillations of wagons, in particular tanks. The influence of the transported cargo and the characteristics of the irregularities of the rail threads on the coefficient of stability of the wheel from rolling on the rail is also considered. As a result of numerous experiments, assumptions were made about the cause of the train's descent. The results of the theoretical study of the influence of the suspension parameters of the main electric locomotive type DC3 on the value of its critical speed are presented. The optimum range of values ​​of rigidity of connection of axle boxes and a frame of the cart is recommended. For the first time, a spatial finite element model of a new generation diesel train trolley was built and the calculation of strength under the action of regulatory loads on it was performed. The constructed model allowed to choose the option of modernization of the prototype of the frame, which satisfies the conditions of fatigue strength. A set of calculation and experimental work to assess the stress-strain condition of the frame of the trolley of the diesel train DPKR-2 under the action of design and operating loads allowed to create a structure that meets both operational requirements and requirements for strength and durability. The developed design of a frame of the cart gives the chance to increase safety of operation and can be used in the diesel trains of the next generations. The influence of longitudinal compressive and tensile forces on the dynamic load of a freight car is investigated.
