Mathematical models of linear and quadratic problems of robust optimization have been developed – the minimization of linear (quadratic) function subject to linear constraints, where the coefficients of the constraint matrix and the vector of the right-hand sides depend on the disturbance vector, which runs through all values from a given set of uncertainty. 2. Algorithms of nonsmooth optimization LPralg and QPralg have been developed for solving linear and quadratic problems of robust optimization (for a finite set of uncertainties). It is shown that they are effective for solving linear and quadratic programming problems with low number of variables ( ) and large number of constraints (from hundreds of thousands to several millions), for which the use of general-purpose programs is impossible or requires significant computing resources. The developed mathematical models and algorithms are to be used to determine the locations of electric energy storage units of optimal capacity for the UES of Ukraine, subject to the regulatory requirements for stochastic changes of significant total capacity of renewable energy sources.
