Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 The purpose of the work is to develop methods, algorithms and software for constructing theoretical contours of the external and internal surfaces of a nozzle with a central body. 1. Mathematical models, nonsmooth optimization methods and software for constructing plane curves in natural parameterization with quadratic and cubic curvature distribution laws have been developed. They are designed for approximating S-shaped fragments of the external nozzle contours and the contours of the central body. 2. A mathematical model and an algorithm for geometric averaging of plane curves in natural parametrization to construct an averaged contour of the central body for several of its positions have been developed. 3. Methods for choosing the optimal parameters in the generalized d'Alembert formula for the approximation of functions of two variables, given either on a straight line or on M parallel straight lines have been developed; quasi-Newton and Newton methods for constructing S-shaped curves have also been developed. 4. A set of programs for constructing the contour of the central body according to a given law of variation of areas for several positions of the central body has been developed. Mathematical models, methods and software are planned to be used in the design and constructing departments of SE "Ivchenko-Progress" to reduce time of the design of Laval nozzle with internal body and improve its characteristics according to technical requirements.
