The aim is increasing the grain yield of common bush type beans in the conditions of the Steppe of Ukraine on the basis of selection of high-yielding varieties, improvement of mineral nutrition and optimization the sowing structure. Methods – field, visual, hypothesis, synthesis, analysis, measurement and weight, mathematical statistics and economics. The new energy-saving technology of growing beans in the conditions of the Steppe of Ukraine provided obtaining the grain yield at the level of 1,46–2,61 t/ha, profit – 18265–32574 UAH/ha and profitability of production – 171–350 %.
