The goal is obtaining the high crop yields of pea grain in the conditions of the Steppe of Ukraine on the basis of scientifically grounded selection of modern varieties, improvement of the fertilizer system, as well as the use of biological preparations. Methods – field, visual, hypothesis, synthesis, analysis, measurement and weight, mathematical statistics and economics. Improved technological measures for growing modern varieties of peas in the conditions of the Steppe of Ukraine provided obtaining the grain yields at the level of 2,54–2,65 t/ha, profit – 6707–7405 UAH/ha and profitability of production – 60,3–66,1 %.
