The aim of the work is to experimentally substantiate the correction of joint pathology with the combined action of chondroprotectors and multiprobiotics. Research methods: histological, biochemical, immunological, molecular genetic methods and methods of variation statistics. A comprehensive study of biochemical parameters of inflammation, oxidative-antioxidant balance, markers of cartilage metabolism, the level of expression of genes involved in the development of inflammation, signal transduction, modulation of the immune response and remodeling of the matrix in cartilage and blood of rats and under the action of chondroitin sulfate (cholesterol) and multiprobiotic (PB). It was found that under the conditions of experimental OA inflammation was accompanied by leukocyte infiltration of the knee joints, intensification of free radical processes: an increase in the content of superoxide radical, hydrogen peroxide, oxidation products of lipids and proteins. There was a dysfunction of the antioxidant system (depletion of glutathione-dependent link and change in the activity of antiradical enzymes - superoxide dismutase and catalase) in the cartilage and serum of rats; increase in the level of pro-inflammatory (IL-1β, TNF-α) and anti-inflammatory (IL-10) cytokines, prostaglandin E2 and low molecular weight molecules, which are an indicator of the development of endogenous intoxication and a manifestation of inflammatory progression. Under the conditions of experimental OA in the blood increased the concentration of oligomeric matrix cartilage protein (COMP), aggrecan (ACAN), cathepsin K (CTSK), cartilage glycoprotein-39 (CHI3L1) and matrix metalloproteinases (MMP1,2,3,8), which are important role in the processes of cartilage degradation and remodeling.  Product Description popup.authors Vovk Tetyana B.
