Objective – to study limbic-neocortical, central and peripheral mediator-hormonal and neurotrophic mechanisms of functional changes in neuronal plasticity in rats with alcohol dependence and to develop approaches for their correction. Methods - neuroethological, neurophysiological, biochemical, mathematical. List of measuring equipment - Annex A. In rats with alcohol dependence at the systemic and mediator-hormonal levels, neu-roplastic rearrangements of the mechanisms of regulation of functional brain activi-ty with weakening of inhibitory processes were revealed. It is established that dis-turbances of various parts of catecholaminergic, GABA-ergic, neurosteroid, neu-rotrophic systems of the brain support alcohol dependence and emotional and cog-nitive disfunctions. The value of the basic level of anxiety in the formation of alco-hol dependence is shown. It is proved that dosed physical activity and intranasal administration of nitric ox-ide donor - sodium nitroprusside promote positive changes in neurochemical mech-anisms of plasticity, suppress the craving for alcohol, restore or compensate for brain function depending on the action of the corrective factor and the level of anxi-ety. Dosed physical load promotes improving cognitive processes based at the res-toration of BDNF functions. Correction of anxiety is conditioned by specific gluco-corticoid regulation of inhibitory and neurotrophic processes in the brain.
