Description
The object of study - socio-economic development of rural communities and territories in a decentralized environment.
The aim is to substantiate the strategic directions of improving the development of rural communities in the context of decentralization of power and improvement of local self-government and improving the welfare of rural residents at the basic level.
Research methods: statistical analysis, generalization, balance sheet, economic estimates, calculation and design, monographs and others generally accepted in research.
Research on the theoretical and methodological support of socio-economic development of rural communities and territories was conducted on the basis of the planned topics for 2016-2020, which is a continuation of the planned topics for 2011-2015 "Develop a strategy for the development of rural areas and communities: theoretical, methodological and practical principles." Contains an assessment of the current state of the rural social sphere, its impact on the demographic situation in rural areas, the formation and functioning of the settlement network, the development of property relations, the creation of qualitatively new labor relations in productive and non-productive spheres, the formation of labor market and employment increasing material well-being and improving the social status of peasants.
Based on theoretical provisions, analysis and assessment of the current situation, the conceptual foundations, strategic directions and program provisions of sustainable development of rural communities in the context of decentralization of power and reform of local self-government and improving the welfare of rural residents at the basic level are substantiated.
