The purpose of the work is to create a hybrid fund and select varieties from it that would meet the modern requirements of intensive horticulture and be competitive in the variety market. On the basis of the conducted researches the varieties and hybrid forms of apple and pear are distinguished, which are characterized by high productivity of plants, certain consumer qualities of fruits. Four new varieties have been created: two apple trees and two pear trees. A patent was obtained and entered in the State Register of varieties suitable for distribution in Ukraine, two varieties: apple trees Mir; pear Empire.
