Description

 A prototype of a drug for the treatment and prevention of prion infections based on the delivery of antisense oligodeoxynucleotides was developed. The prototype of the drug for the delivery of antisense oligodeoxynucleotides reduces the content of physiological prion in prion-replicating organs, does not cause the appearance of specific antibodies, is low-toxic and promising for the design of drugs for the treatment and prevention of prion infections. Utility model patent "The method of reducing of the cellular prion content in animals" (№ 144124, Bull. № 17) was obtained. Methodical recommendations "Methodology of creating and evaluating the efficiency of nanosized polymeric carriers with nucleic acids" have been developed and published
