Subject of the research: value-semantic priorities of the Ukrainian community in the conditions of socio-cultural transformations in Ukraine and abroad.
Objective of the research: to carry out a comprehensive study aimed at substantiating the theoretical foundations of studying the development of national identity, identifying problems of Ukrainian identity formation, related to the need to delineate the value and meaning, and the risks of informational, political and military confrontation.
Methods of the research: method of complex analysis and oral history (complex of field methods: (interviewing, included observation), historical-comparative, system analysis, method of sociolinguistics and narrative analysis. information.
Results and their novelty: conceptual theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of national identity, development of ways to protect and disseminate national semantic aspects of cultural creation, the introduction of Ukrainian values through the formation of basic civic values, language, social and communicative competencies. Emphasis is placed on the fact that the lack of an established common identity that would unite the majority of citizens not only significantly slows down the progressive development of Ukrainian society, but also creates or critically reinforces a number of threats to the country's national security. It is proved that "Ukrainian identity and national security are the basic values of Ukrainian existence", which are interconnected and interdependent and are the fundamental foundations of the existence of Ukrainian society and the state on which the future of Ukraine is built.
