Namely, the concept is analyzed: literacy of the XXI century; individualization of education; gamification; digital inequality; globalization of education. The peculiarities of the process of social and psychological adaptation of gifted students at different levels of complete basic education are revealed. Psychological features of development of children of primary school age (1-2 classes) are characterized first of all by emergence of crisis of seven years. It symbolizes the transition from preschool to primary school childhood. The content of the crisis of seven years is the emergence of a new level of self-awareness - the inner position, there is an attitude to himself, the child understands the attitude of others to himself; the structure of behavior changes: there is a rational and emotional assessment of the results of their actions. The difficulties of adaptation that are reflected in the emotional sphere of an elementary school child are associated with the emergence of a new social environment. The success of learning at this age depends on the relationship with the teacher.
