Therefore, to properly address this important environmental problem, it is recommended to use biodegradable packaging made from compostable bioplastics, as well as bioplastics produced from renewable natural resources. The principal criteria for evaluating certain environmental packaging are their resource savings (including energy efficiency of the technologies used) and the impact on economic performance of food production in general. The use of biodegradable packaging, packaging-coatings of biological origin, light and small packaging, and other modern methods of packaging meat, dairy, bakery and confectionery products has been studied and proposed. Scientific support of involvement of principles of ecological biodegradable packing of the specified products in normative documents of various level is executed.
