The strategic priorities of achieving ecological and natural-techno genic safety of the space of urban-type agglomerations are determined and substantiated. Structural and dynamic shifts in ensuring socio-ecological and economic security in the context of creating an innovative and technological base for sustainable development of urban agglomerations are considered. The components are determined and the relationships in the model of formation of the space of urban agglomeration formations with observance of their ecological and economic safety are established. Innovations in the field of production waste management are proposed and the innovative component of socio-ecological and economic security in the model of urban agglomerations from the standpoint of optimization of the market of natural resources assets is investigated. An algorithm for institutionalization of urban agglomeration space has been developed.
