The issue of obtaining quantitative structural characteristics of polycrystalline material under the absorbing X-ray amorphous layer during profiling of the depth of analysis has been studied. Such objects may include: (a) technical materials (metals and alloys) with absorbing amorphous coating and (b) biological objects (biominerals, biomaterials), the crystalline component of which may be available for probing X-ray radiation after passing external non-crystalline component (organic, synthetic biopolymer). To study the biological effects of low-intensity X-ray irradiation (doses from 2.5 to 5 Gy) and testing of biomaterials based on chitosan and dyes, the "Allium test" (based on Allium cepa onion) was adapted and used. The biometric parameters and the content of photosynthetic pigments in radish seedlings (Raphanus sativus var. Radicula), the seeds of which were treated with solutions of chitosan of different concentrations in different organic acids (acetic, ascorbic, lactic) with the addition of complex fertilizer and irradiated with X-ray (Mo Kα). The influence of X-ray irradiation on acidity and pathogenic and normal microflora of new functional dairy products containing ultrafine beet powder, including nanosized fraction, was determined. The potential possibility of using X-rays for sterilization of products with the inclusion of plant nano- and microparticles has been shown. It was found that low-dose X-ray irradiation prevents the development of pathogenic microflora in dairy products, and with increasing dose has a negative effect on the normal lactic acid microflora.   Product Description popup.authors Duvanov Sergiy M.
