The purpose of the work is to analyze and summarize scientific data on the toxicity of volatile substances formed during exothermic reactions of combustion of construction and cable products, as well as methods for its evaluation. The object of research - the processes of interaction of volatile substances in the course of exothermic combustion reactions. The subject of research is the influence of factors on the processes of interaction of volatile substances during exothermic combustion reactions. Research methods - analytical research method (analysis of domestic and foreign regulations, guidelines and technical documents, brochures, manuals, reference books, test reports and other literature sources, Internet information). Based on the results of analytical research, a database on the toxicity of combustion products of construction and cable products has been developed in order to set new applied research in the direction of introducing in Ukraine experimentally and analytically a method for determining the toxicity of combustion products of construction and cable products.
