The aim is increasing the biological potential of productivity of modern varieties of buckwheat by optimizing agro-technical measures of growing crops, which will ensure obtaining the high and stable grain yields in the conditions of the Steppe of Ukraine. Methods – field, visual, methods of hypotheses, synthesis, analysis, measurement and weight, mathematical statistics and economics. Adaptive technology of growing buckwheat in the steppe of Ukraine provided grain yield at the level of 1,72–1,97 t/ha, profit – 8639–11307 UAH/ha and profitability of production – 90–109 %.
