The analysis of the problem of systematization and unification of classification features of risks is carried out. The classification defines the methods and means of risk assessment, their gradation scales, the degree of acceptability and threshold values of each specific safety; It is shown that the improvement of the existing regulatory framework for the audit of product life cycle processes should be developed based on the requirements of international standards ISO / IEC, taking into account the industry specifics. It is proposed to distinguish between the concept of "non-compliance" and "risks" and define risks during process audit as a combination of undesirable consequences - losses assessed through "loss of quality" elements of product life cycle processes, and the probability of undesirable consequences for each process element. obtained by processing statistical information.
