Attention is paid to the methods of analyzing competitive advantages that allow measuring and forecasting the competitiveness of industrial enterprises, assessing the possibilities for increasing their competitiveness level, and exploring the most profitable directions for increasing it. The problem of the need to invest in human capital as a direction of socio-economic development of enterprises in modern conditions is considered.
