- the current state of scientific developments in the detection of hydrogen accumulations were studied and analyzed;
- collection, systematization and analysis of literary and stock materials on known hydrogen accumulations were performed;
- the technology of structural-thermo-atmogeochemical researches (STAGD) was adapted to search of hydrogen accumulations;
- reconnaissance expeditionary research was performed within Obolon Square.
