The urgency of the proposed issues in the field of teaching physics and mathematics in the development of the concept of STEM-education, due to the indisputable fact of lack of new learning technologies, development of theoretical and methodological foundations for creating an innovative environment of STEM-education, and the complete lack of tools and methods formation of professional development of the student in a higher education institution.
The purpose of the work is to develop the direction of STEM-education in the Kirovohrad region, which is revealed in the research work of the scientific and pedagogical staff of the academy and the development of innovative technologies, forms and methods of physics and mathematics disciplines in accordance with priority areas of science and technology and STEM-education, as
well as the motivation of students and cadets to the technical direction of study.
To achieve this goal, the tasks are: to create a STEM-center and research laboratory «STEM education and innovative education» at the academy; to conduct experimental studies of the effectiveness of the introduction of STEM-technologies on the basis of STEM-education in the educational process of schools and higher education institution; to expand and deepen the international relations of the Academy to the level of signing and proper implementation of agreements on scientific-methodical and technical cooperation with leading educational and scientific institutions of Europe and the world; to improve the quality of education of students in physics and natural sciences in terms of STEM-education; to test scientific and methodical materials in the educational process of the academy, which is focused on the introduction of STEM-technologies.
