In order to substantiate the content and methods of practice in pedagogical education institutions. It is revealed that the practical component of professional training of future teachers at the bachelor's level is aimed at the formation of practical skills, creative attitude to activities, professional qualities (communicative competence, methodological culture, pedagogical skills, etc.). On the basis of foreign works, educational and methodical documentation of the organization of practice in foreign universities, it was found that most of them implement two strategies for their implementation. The content and methodological principles of the organization of pedagogical internship as a form of postgraduate practice, professional development of a young teacher, which provides "entry" into the teaching profession through the mentorship of an experienced teacher within one year after qualification.
