The object of research is a regional waste management plan in Ternopil region. The purpose of developing the Regional Waste Management Plan in Ternopil region until 2030 is the need to create and ensure the effective functioning of the waste management system in Ternopil region on an innovative basis, implementation of strategic planning, which will include a number of measures to reform and improve waste management system in the region. selection of the optimal waste management system (definition of infrastructure for separate collection, processing, treatment and disposal of waste; providing information on planned technologies and methods of waste management) and practical measures necessary for its implementation. Research methods: dialectical method of cognition, fundamental analysis, retrospective analysis and method of argumentation; methods of strategic analysis, abstract-logical, comparative-statistical analysis, tabular-graphic methods, monographic, correlation and regression analysis, index method, inductions and deductions, theory of systems analysis. The generalized scientific result of the work is the developed Regional waste management plan in Ternopil region until 2030; identification of specific social, educational, organizational and technical, regulatory, technological and technical measures provided for in the National Strategy and National Plan, responsible executors and deadlines for implementation of measures, sources and amounts of financial support, means of monitoring the implementation of measures and monitoring reform results in the field of waste management in the Ternopil region.
