The object - different groups of the population and their awareness of the provision of assistance in combating domestic and gender-based violence, including in conflict. Subject - the level of awareness of different groups of the population, their attitude to the manifestations of gender-based violence and domestic violence and the quality of assistance in combating domestic violence and gender-based violence, including in conflict. The aim is to analyze the state of awareness of different groups of the population and the quality of assistance in combating domestic and gender-based violence, including in conflict, and to provide suggestions. The methodological basis - normative documents of Ukraine and the practice of resolving issues of combating domestic violence and gender-based violence. Statistics Ministry of Social Policy, the National Police, etc. were used. Methods of questionnaire survey, comparison, juxtaposition, formalization, general methods and techniques. Scientific novelty: 1.The analysis of the legislation on combating domestic violence and gender-based violence has been carried out. 2.The current information on international and domestic practices in the context of awareness of different groups of the population and the quality of assistance in combating domestic and gender-based violence is analyzed. 3.The statistical reporting of state authorities dealing with the issues of combating domestic violence and gender-based violence has been studied and systematized. 4.A social survey was conducted and its results were summarized on the awareness of various groups of the population and the quality of assistance in combating domestic and gender-based violence, including conflict. 5.Proposals have been made to improve the situation of awareness of various groups of the population and the quality of assistance in combating domestic and gender-based violence, including in conflict. The results can be used in the practice of the Ministry of Social Policy
