Generalized vision of theoretical approaches to risk / risk society, cluster of key concepts of sociology of risk and uncertainty are formed as components of the analytical framework for studying the social processes of Ukrainian society. It was found that the instability of social processes in the global-local context is due to systemic risks of exogenous and endogenous nature, in turn, states of instability and crises provoke the deployment and layering of systemic risks in various spheres of public life. Manifestations and localizations of systemic risks of poverty, social tension, the field of culture in Ukrainian society, taking into account the context of the coronavirus crisis, are revealed.
