An assortment of economically valuable representatives of the local arboriflora and introducers who have passed the introduction tests is offered. Possibilities of intensification of vegetative and seed reproduction are investigated. Agrotechnical measures and recommendations for cultivation and care have been developed. The scheme of hybridization of Corylus L. with selection of pairs for crossing is developed. On the basis of the developed selection scheme high-yielding varieties of hazelnuts with the increased winter hardiness and drought resistance, with increase in a share of a kernel in weight of a nut, and also with the improved resistance against diseases and wreckers are created.
