A sensitive element of the developed optical nanosensors is a combination of the selected synthesized gold and silver nanoparticles possessed by the high affinity to bacterial cells, and bacteriophages. The possibility of quantitative analysis of the content of bacteria pathogens in the model environment with the use of the developed sensitive elements is shown. The prospects of the optical nanosensors’ development for detection of environment contamination by the pathogenic microorganisms using a combination of spherical gold and silver nanoparticles and biologically active substances with antimicrobial action as a sensitive element have been studied. The possibility of using specific chromogenic reactions modified by the metal nanoparticles in the development of optical nanosensors for the detection of pathogenic bacteria has been demonstrated. Based on the synthesized nanoparticles, an optical nanosensor for analysis the content of biogenic amines in the food products has been developed.
