The results of a survey of 8057 people aged 40 years and older showed that the risk of major osteoporotic and femoral fractures increased with age in both women and men. Based on the conducted research, for the first time in Ukraine the criteria for additional examination of bone tissue by two-photon X-ray absorptiometry - "lower limit" or the beginning of antiosteoporotic therapy - "upper limit" in women and men were determined and their discriminatory properties were determined. patients with rheumatic and neurological pathology.
