Mathematical models of the interaction of an electromagnetic wave with composite micro- and nanostructures have been developed for calculating their spectral characteristics and identifying the conditions for the occurrence of resonance effects. Methods for the synthesis of copper sulfide, crystallizes in a quasi-two-dimensional morphology have been improved. The effect of light exposure on the spatial parameters of silver nanoparticles in which localized surface plasmon resonance appears has been studied. Laser parameters for the formation of laser-induced surface periodic structures were optimized. The photocatalytic properties of metal-semiconductor nanostructures have been researched.
