The particularities of applying of powerful electron beams in the technology of electron beam melting are considered. Technological possibilities of High Voltage Glow Discharge Electron Guns and advantages of its applying for the remelting of chemically-active materials are also analyzed. The complex simulation of self-maintained ion-electron optics system of Voltage Glow Discharge also have been provided. The novel method of interpolation of boundary trajectory of electron beam have been proposed. Experimental investigation of generation and forming of powerful electron beam in the electrodes system with wide geometry also have been provided. The possibility of obtaining in the conditions of acceleration voltage 30kV and the pressure in discharge gap range of few Pa the electron beam with the power 100 kW is shown.
