The object of research is the process of using the financial and economic potential to ensure the development of the region.
The purpose of the study is to investigate the financial and economic potential of Zaporizhia region in order to form a strategy for its development.
Research methods - theoretical generalization, systems analysis, systematization, critical analysis, grouping and logical analysis, graphical, statistical analysis.
Theoretical and practical results: The research of theoretical bases of development of financial and economic potential of area is carried out, the condition of financial and economic potential of Zaporozhye area is analyzed; priority strategies for the development of financial and economic potential for the Zaporizhia region have been identified.
Novelty: the financial and economic potential (economic and financial component of the region's potential) is determined and the directions of development of the financial and economic potential of the region and Zaporizhia region as a whole are proposed, taking into account innovative principles, stimulating economic activity of the region and project financing.
Effectiveness of implementation: the results of research in the educational process of the Department of Personnel Management and Marketing: used in teaching disciplines: "Regional Economics" and "Investment"; introduced into the management system of PJSC "Berdyansk Harvesters", LLC "NVP Energomash", PJSC "Zaporizhzhya Mechanical Plant", PJSC "Zaporizhzhya Tool Plant. Voikova ”, PJSC“ Zaporizhtransformator ”.
Scope of use: the obtained results have scientific and practical value and can be used both for the industrial enterprises, and for the enterprises and the organizations of other branches.
