Samples of dry muscle tissue with mitochondrial haplotype C were found (n = 30), G (n = 3), J1 (n = 60), J2 (n = 2), and L (n = 5). Associative studies have shown no association of mitochondrial haplotypes and meat qualities in terms of calcium, phosphorus, energy value (kcal), total moisture, moisture retention (%), fat melting point and intramuscular fat. The association of mitochondrial haplotype C and meat qualities in terms of ash has been established. The association of mitochondrial haplotype J1 and meat qualities in terms of protein has been established. Thus, the implementation of this exploratory research work has enriched the methodological techniques aimed at accelerating the selection process to improve the quality of pig meat.
