In the course of the research an effective scientific-methodical model of formation of professional competence of future teachers of technologies in the process of professional training was developed and introduced into the educational process of an educational institution taking into account scientific approaches (competence, system, individual, personality-oriented, etc.) in mixed form. training (full-time and distance) and with the use of modern learning technologies (information and communication, interactive, project). These studies provide a solution to most of the controversies regarding the formation of professional competence of future teachers of technology; create favorable conditions for further growth of specialists as professionals, masters of their craft; contribute to further career success and aim at continuous self-development, lifelong learning.
