The purpose of research: substantiating perspective directions of improving system of sports training of elite athletes specialized in aquatic sports, which are based on the information about the structure of competitive activity and training, systematization of existing knowledge, and further expansion and deepen.
The purpose of research stage: the compilation of information on problems of making the training process of elite athletes specialized in aquatic sports with the requirements of the competitive activity.
The object of research: the system of elite athletes’ training in aquatic sports.
Subject of research: management of elite athletes’ training and competitive loads.
Research methods: Theoretical generalization, analysis and synthesis of information; generalization of leading trainers and scientists’ experience, testing special performance, instrumental methods of researching athletes’ motor activity and functional systems. Methods of mathematical statistics.
Research results: The presented process of modeling power and capacity of power supply included modeling control, evaluation and interpretation of indicators, and the choice of special training tools. At the heart of the process is the development of generalized, group and individual models of functional preparedness, substantiation of the possibilities of their implementation, taking into account the age, gender, qualifications and specialization of the rowers.
Scientific-technical documentation: 18 scientific papers have been published, including: 16 articles, 2 abstracts in scientific conferences, 14 papers in the scientific-metric database, in which the publication (Scopus, Web of science, Index Copernicus and similar level) is registered.
Technical advantages. Scientific and technical level in relation to the best domestic and foreign analogues (prototypes): the proposed approach allowed creating tasks on further improvement of training process of elite athletes, specializing in aquatic sports
