The object of research is sea waters, bottom sediments and the Black Sea ecosystem within the exclusive maritime economic zone of Ukraine. The purpose of the work is to assess and diagnose the ecological status of the Black Sea marine environment within the exclusive maritime economic zone of Ukraine in 2020 and compare the ecological status with the baseline assessment and good ecological status in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 19.09.2018 № 758 and EU Directives ( 2008/56/EU) and (2008/105/EU) in accordance with the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.
