The object of research is the substantiation of fire safety requirements for high-rise public buildings with a conditional height from 100 m to 150 m during their design. The subject of research - fire safety requirements for high-rise public buildings with a conditional height of 100 m to 150 m in their design. The purpose of the work is to improve the regulatory framework for the design of high-rise public buildings with a conditional height of 100 m to 150 m in the field of fire safety. Research methods: analytical, expert estimates, probabilistic statistical, FDS computer simulation. In the work, research was carried out on the scientific basis of fire safety requirements for public buildings from 100 m to 150 m in height. Carried out: Analysis of statistical data on fires in high-rise buildings, their causes and consequences; analysis of provisions and requirements of domestic legislative, regulatory and normative documents on fire safety requirements for high-rise public buildings; research of fire prevention conditions with external fencing structures; analysis of international regulatory documents and information sources on fire safety requirements for high rise public buildings, namely: Ensuring the fire resistance of load-bearing structures; preventing the creation and spread of fire and smoke in the building, limiting the spread of fire to adjacent structures; ensuring the evacuation of people; fire protection systems; organization of mopping-up operations
