The object of research is the system "Road - traffic flow - environment".
The purpose of the work is to develop a methodology for designing, reconstruction of roads, airfields, evaluation of design solutions and methods of geodetic support of construction, cartographic and cadastral works.
Research methods - methods of system and statistical analysis, parametric optimization, experimental research, which allowed to form the structure and logical organization of research and develop a model of the system "Highway traffic flow - environment", which takes into account the main processes of the system.
The application of the method of morphological analysis allows the synthesis and analysis of both existing and promising tools to improve the quality of construction and reconstruction of roads and airfields. Evaluation of methods, models and technical means of ensuring the quality of design solutions was carried out using the methods of mathematical modeling, probability theory.
